Link/Advertising Policy
Totally Awesome Freebies is highly themed around Freebies, Free Stuff, and Promotions that are free to participate in.
This is our policy for Advertising and Link partner sites. It′s designed to keep the site very relevant to our visitors, to search engines, and to provide the highest value to our visitors.
When we assess a potential Advertiser or Link Partner we use the following criteria:
Requirements
- The Advertisement, or Link Partner site must be related to Freebies, Free Stuff and, with the exception of some Surveys, offers that are free to participate in. In other words the primary purpose of the site is that it features, and specializes in, items or opportunities, that are free.
- We will consider any other sites, or advertisements, that are closely related to the supplementary categories found on this site.
- We will only process a Free Link request once we find a reciprocal link to TotallyAwesomeFreebies.com on the Partner site. Non reciprocating links in our directory are available at a cost.
- Link Partner sites can only be submitted under the Other Sites category
- Where required, a reciprocal link to TotallyAwesomeFreebies.com must be easy to find on your site. If it is located in a links directory, that directory should be easily located from your site′s primary pages.
- When a reciprocal link is required, we review your site and check to ensure that search engines are free to ´spider´ your site, including your link directory, and ensure there is no evidence of robots.txt or no follow instructions preventing that happening. This site is aimed at being great value for our Visitors, Advertisers, and Link Partners, we expect the same.
- This site only accepts advertising, or partner sites, that are in the English Language.
- We reserve the right to reclassify your advertisement, or site link, into a more appropriate category.
- We will apply our own code of ethics when determining an Advertisement or Partner Site′s suitability. While we are open minded, and hardly prudish, we will not accept an advertisement, or partnership with any site, where the content could be construed as offensive, or condoning illegal activity of any kind.
- The Umpire′s decision is final. We are the Umpire.
